Refund policy

OVERVIEW
At Delicious Bears, we take great pride in the quality of our products and we want every
customer to feel confident in their purchase. Please read our return and refund policy
carefully before placing your order.


RETURN WINDOW

You have 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery to request a return. Any return requests received after this period will not be accepted.

To initiate a return, please contact us at nicoladuplessis@gmail.com within your 7-day
window with your order number and reason for return.


RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be unused, unopened and in its original packaging
  • The product must be in the same condition as when it was received
  • Proof of purchase must be provided
  • The return must be requested within 7 days of delivery

All returned products will be inspected upon receipt. If the product does not meet the above conditions, the return will not be approved and the item will be returned to the customer at their cost.


NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • Digital recipe purchases — all recipe sales are final and non-refundable
  • Products that have been opened, used or tampered with
  • Products returned after the 7-day return window
  • Original delivery/courier fees paid at checkout


RETURN COURIER & COSTS
The customer is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return courier. We
recommend using a tracked courier service as Delicious Bears cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during return.

The return courier cost will be deducted from your refund amount. This means your refund will reflect the original amount paid, minus the return courier fee.


REFUND PROCESS
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 3-5 business days.

If your return is approved, your refund will be processed as follows:

  • A 5% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount
  • The return courier cost will be deducted from your refund amount
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account

Example:
If you paid R399 for a product and the return courier costs R80, your refund would be
calculated as follows:

Original purchase amount R399.00
Less: Return courier cost (example) - R80.00
Less: 5% restocking fee  - R19.95
Total refund  R299.05

 

DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at nicoladuplessis@gmail.com with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.

We will assess the situation and resolve it promptly. In the case of a confirmed damaged or incorrect item, return courier costs will be covered by Delicious Bears and a full replacement or refund will be issued at no additional cost to the customer.
